INDUS Bidders Add-On for ACCPAC CRM is ideal for companies that need to associate many companies with a single opportunity and then merge documents to each linked company.

A typical business scenario is when a supplier is chosen by several contractors to supply materials or services for a contract that all contractors are bidding for. The INDUS Bidders Add-On for ACCPAC CRM provides the following workflow:

Create an opportunity for a generic company.
Link the Opportunity to an ACCPAC Advantage Series quote.
Using a custom Bidders tab, assign an unlimited number of bidders who are competing for the contract.
Using a custom merge button, create merge documents such as quotes to each bidder. Automatically print and create a communication if needed.
Once a bidder wins the contract, automatically relink the opportunity and ACCPAC Advantage Series quote to the winning bidder.

  Description of Functions
 

Add Bidder: Allows user to search for a company with (optionally) a related person and link the bidder to the opportunity

Selected Column: Clicking the checkmark will unselect the bidder from any future merge process.

Send Quote to Selected Bidders: Allows user to select a quote template that will be used for the merge process. Additionally, the user can enter various communication-specific fields such as description, territory, etc. These fields will be applied to each communication created as a result of the merge process.

Remove Selected Bidders: Unlinks all selected bidders from the opportunity.

Select All: Selects all linked bidders.

Unselect All: Unselects all linked bidders. Unselected bidders will not be included in the merge process.

Assign Opportunity to Bidder: Allows user to choose winning bidder and then automatically re-link the opportunity and related ACCPAC Advantage Series quote to the bidder.
